NORVIK BANKA in Latvia

The Bank was established on April 29, 1992. Since then the Bank has been successfully operating in the Latvian and international financial markets, offering its services to a wide range of clients – from private individuals to international industrial enterprises. In 2006 the Bank attracted a strategic investor and obtained its new name – NORVIK BANKA (previously it was known as LATEKO BANKA). As a result 51% of the Bank’s equity is now held by the company Straumborg ehf., represented by Jon Helgi Gudmundson - the owner of the large international company NORVIK hf.


 

NORVIK BANKA has more that 70 branches in Latvia, and has also opened a representative office in Moscow, Russia. At present, the Bank has more than 600 employees.
